Farnsworth House

Tasks:

This is a project which requires students to draw a set of architectural orthographic drawings. There are 3 parts to this project respectively Project 2A, 2B, and 2C. Project 2A is focused on the orthographic drawings of the Farnsworth house while Project 2B is focused on the axonometric drawing. Project 2C is the production of perspective views (1 point and 2 points).

1. Lifelong Learning

I search on the internet independently when I encounter problems. I would do research to verify the accuracy of the dimensions.

2. Discipline Specific Knowledge

By the end of this assignment, I was more familiar with the rules and guidelines of drawing orthographic drawings. I was introduced to drawing tools such as T-square, scale ruler, 45 degree angle ruler, etc.

3. Interpersonal Skills

I seek help from my friends that undertake foundation programs as they have been exposed to these drawings and obtain certain experiences compared to me as an direct intake student.
