Designing with Architectural Principles & Materiality
In this second assignment, we are required to form a group with three to four people and investigate our conceptual and practical processes in order to create an introspective architectural folly with a spatial experience. From the first assignment, we must choose a few architectural principles and define them using designs, sketches, and models.
Reflection
1. Lifelong Learning
At the end of the project, I realize that I have strengthened my time management, as well as independent study. With the use of established architectural drawing conventions and the ability to locate, extract, synthesise, and efficiently use information, I was able to translate the design into building drawings with the necessary construction specifications.
2. Discipline Specific Knowledge
At the end of this project, I am able to put theories into practice. We are able to define the architectural principles from Project 1 in simple architectural form, spaces, and functions.
